Summary
Spreadsheets are an essential, authoritative, and versatile business tool that can provide and store valuable information. It is a tool for processing data and then forming charts and graphs to report results and thus can hold as little or as much information as necessary. Some spreadsheet programs can also work together with other programs, such as word processing and presentation software. Spreadsheets provide means for students to apply their existing knowledge to test ideas. Students use spreadsheets to develop an understanding of technology concepts as well as mathematics and other disciplines. Spreadsheets provide students with a tool for analyzing the data, to calculate and plot relationships, understand math concepts, illustrate graphical solving of equations, and explore probability problems, which are then used to make proper conclusions and informed decisions.
A spreadsheet creates a simulation that demonstrates the manipulation of one or more variables. Spreadsheet programs allow us to organize and rearrange data to analyze and make decisions of numerical and text data.Spreadsheet skillsallow students to organize, calculate, graph, and analyze data. These skills provide a critical foundation in preparation for future studies, and the workplace Spreadsheets are important for keeping information electronically; this is more time-efficient than sorting through mounds of paperwork to gather crucial bits of information.

This link talks about the No Child Left Behind Act which considers the disadvantaged students as well as other students who wish to achieve academic excellence. The link supports the course because it also provides the necessary provisions which ensure that the disadvantaged students receive quality education. The site provides various important details on how students can access loans, an also how the loans can be forgiven depending on the circumstance. It also covers on students’ financial aids, grants, programs, research and statistics, and policy and guidance. The course covers on various topics like special education, policy advocacy, mental health, emotional development, and specific cognitive training, among others, for the individuals with special needs. Therefore, the No Child Left Behind Act acts as a guideline to the topic of interest in this paper.

This link provides a platform where students can search for many source materials on any topic of interest. The website provides a search tool where the researcher enters a search term of interest. The website provides as many results as possible depending on the topic. It categorizes the results into; publication date, descriptor, source, author, publication type, education level, audience, location, law, policies, and programs, assessments and surveys, and what works clearinghouse rating. With this type of website, the students with special needs can do any research work on emotional development needs, special needs, law, business, health services, individual educational plans, personal safety, behavior, and inclusion, to mention but a few. The tool is also helpful to other students, teachers, researchers, and any person willing to do any research on any topic.

Spreadsheets

A spreadsheet is a sheet of paper that shows accounting or other data in rows and columns; a spreadsheet is also a computer program, which simulates actual spreadsheet storing, viewing and manipulating the data organized in rows and columns. The spreadsheet is one of the most popular personal computer applications.
Within a row, spaces containing data objects are known as cells. cell is labeled by location (e.g. A1, A2, A3 “¦), and can be compared in either absolute or relative ways to the cells around it. A spreadsheet is typically structured to contain numerical data and short strings of text. Spreadsheets are usually capable of graphically representing data connections. The spreadsheets do not generally have the ability to organize and mark data objects as fully as a database and typically do not require the database to be queried. A computer is usually much easier than a database system.
The first program, VisiCalc (for “clear calculator,”) was developed by Daniel Bricklin and Bob Frankston. The next thing was Lotus 1-2-3, then Microsoft Excel. While Lotus 1-2-3 was the first to enter cell names and macros, the graphical user interface and mouse-point- and click-capability were implemented (Microsoft Excel). Nowadays there are many other spreadsheet applications on the market; however, the most common ones are the Lotus 1-2-3 and Microsoft Excel.

ERIC (Education Resources Information Center) is an authoritative database of indexed and full-text education literature and resources. Sponsored by the Institute of Education Sciences of the U.S. Department of Education, it is an essential tool for education researchers of all kinds.
Content includes more than 1.6 million records, links to nearly 750,000 full-text documents, coverage dating back to 1966, an education-specific thesaurus containing over 11,700 terms and a Wide Array of Source Types.
ERIC contains records and links to hundreds of thousands of full-text documents. It includes records for a variety of source types, including journal articles, books, conference papers, curriculum guides, dissertations and policy papers. Further, researchers can limit search results by education level such as Early Childhood Education as well as on the intended audience such as Counselors or Teachers.
