For this week, as a means of illustrating the concepts of tactics and strategies, I want you to research and select a terrorist attack that has made the news in the past 5 years. The location of the attack can be anywhere in the world. Be sure to read as many news articles/military briefs (if applicable) that provide the details on the attack. Then, take this attack and build a short case study that identifies the following areas: the terrorist/terror organization, a brief history on this actor/group, a detailed description of the attack, the tactic(s) used, the strategy, and a summary that argues whether you believe that this attack achieved their strategic goals.
Remember to meet the initial post criteria and be sure to respond to your peers accordingly.
