Each individual will select at least two major topics from the course to research on the internet. If working as a team for the final project, at least three major topics need to be selected. Teams can be of size 3-5 – you choose your own team members, or work individually.
For the final deliverable, you or your team will search for videos of course topics you chose as applied to real companies. This final deliverable is worth 300 points. YouTube provides many such examples, as well as company websites. The videos will likely not specifically analyze how the company competes with operations and supply chain techniques, but you or your team must critically analyze the video examples with that in mind. SO, YOU MUST CHOOSE VIDEOS THAT ARE INTERESTING AND SUFFICIENTLY COMPLEX IN ORDER TO PROVIDE A COMPREHENSIVE ANALYSIS.
Mainly, you should be able to discuss how this company (or companies) uses what you learned in this course to succeed in their industry.
The final project requires an individual or team submission of a report (as a Word file) of between 1000-1500 words for individuals and 1500-2500 words for teams (using Word properties to calculate). You must also submit working links of 3-5 videos that are the basis for your analysis.
