The Plan
Your project for this course is to design a research project, write about that project, and present the project. This module is all about the design.
To complete this task successfully first work through all learning resource activities:
The Research Project
Let’s begin by looking at the big picture. What do you need to know to complete your project?

Research Your Topic
Do research on your own about your topic. How do you do this?
Look at the Stratford Library
Click here to enter the Library Databases.
Observe the project problem
Visit the location which surrounds your research. Spend some time observing.
This task has 2 parts. You must submit BOTH parts of this assignment for grading.
(1) After watching the LinkedIn Learning Course noted above, create your Design Research plan.
(2) Next, create your literature review. Find at least 5 sources of academic information (references) connected to the work you propose to do and analyse them to show how your research may fill or extend an existing gap. Compare and contrast the sources with each other and with your approach. Remember that you must paraphrase the articles in your own words (appropriately referenced, of course) and synthesise their potential contribution to your research; they should not be presented as a ‘list’ of articles.
Your sources should be from refereed academic journals which will be found in the online library. List your references in a bibliography at the end of your paper, using the APA referencing system.
Submit BOTH your Design Research plan AND your Literature Review for grading.
If you want feedback on your topic, you must submit your drafts by end of Week 3, Sunday 11/01. You can then use my feedback to revise the final task and lesson for submission at the end of Week 2.
Please note that any work submitted in draft format but in the final drop box will be graded as a final submission.
Additional Requirements:
12-point Times New Roman; double spaced; and page numbering.
Please be sure to answer the entire question(s) to receive maximum credit for this assignment.
Use and include information from the weekly course content and outside sources to support the conclusions contained in your submission.
Be cognizant of spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
All sources should be cited in proper APA format (in-text citations and a reference list).
Submit your work in Word format, NOT as a pdf file.
Your attachment should be labeled with your name, the name of this class, and the assignment e.g. Jones – EBM502 – Task 2.
